About Us

Who We Are

The People’s Cafe  is a cultural arts organization dedicated to uniting diverse communities through civic engagement and social change founded by Educator, Artist, and Advocate, Maeva Renaud.

Our Mission and Vision

Our mission is to engage and advocate for diversity and inclusion in segregated communities. We do this through our engagement, advocacy, and direct service programs.

Our vision is to see a sustainable, just, and unified world. We believe that when we as a people can come and reason together and go beyond reintegration and truly immerse ourselves in each others’ narratives to seek understanding, then we can work together towards equity for all.

By establishing relationships and partnerships with creative community builders, artists, and change agents, The People’s Cafe will be a space where diverse stakeholders find common ground in order to begin the conversation on social justice issues.

Meet the Team

"Never doubt that a small group of thoughtful, committed citizens can change the world; indeed, it's the only thing that ever has."

-Margaret Mead
